Chrysanthemum May Queen Seed - Irish Plants Direct

These delightful herbaceous perennials are an old fashioned favourite with single daisy flowers that have pure white petals with a golden yellow centre.

They bring excellent colour to the garden during summer and are good for encouraging valuable wildlife into the garden.

Sow between February - May on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7.5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from April onwards for them to flower the next summer.

Can be sown outside in a seed bed between May - July

Transplant to their flowering position in autumn around 30cm apart to flower the following year.
