Chamomile ORGANIC Herb Seed - Irish Plants Direct

 

This fragrant annual herb produces pretty white and yellow daisies above bright green feathery foliage during summer. 

 

The flowers can be used to make tea packed with health benefits to aid stomach problems and insomnia.

The flowers can be dried for winter use. 

 

This variety is not suitable for a lawn.

Sow thinly March to April indoors in seed trays 0.5cm deep water and place in a warm position 15 - 20 degrees and keep moist. Transplant into small pots when they are large enough to handle, grow on in cooler conditions gradually accustom the plants to outsiders conditions before planting out. 

 

Sow thinly between March - May outside where they are to grow 1.5cm deep into finely raked well drained soil that has already been watered. Thin the seedling to 30cm apart and keep well watered until the plants are established.
