Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to May in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Lightly cover with a thin layer of compost and keep at a temperature of 18–21°C. Keep soil moist but not waterlogged. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost.

 

For outdoor sowing, scatter seeds in a well-prepared seedbed from April to May. Lightly rake over, water gently, and thin seedlings to 20–30 cm apart once they have established.
