Carnation Marie Chabaud Seeds  - Irish Plants Direct

A charming heirloom variety with soft lemon-yellow blooms and a delicate clove-like fragrance. ‘Marie Chabaud’ carnations produce fully double flowers with gently ruffled petals, carried on long, slender stems ideal for cutting.

The pastel colouring and vintage form make this variety a favourite for cottage gardens, floral arrangements, and romantic planting schemes.

Flowering in its first year from an early sowing, ‘Marie Chabaud’ is compact yet vigorous, with grey-green foliage and excellent weather tolerance. It performs well in borders, containers, and cutting beds, offering a continuous display from early summer into autumn. A classic choice for gardeners seeking elegance, scent, and reliable performance.
