Candytuft Mixed Seeds – Irish Plants Direct
 
A charming and compact annual with rounded clusters of small, fragrant flowers in a soft mix of pink, lilac, rose, and white. ‘Garden Candytuft Mixed’ forms neat mounds of green foliage and blooms prolifically from early summer, adding gentle colour and texture to borders, rockeries, and informal planting.
 
 
This drought tolerant annual thrives in full sun and well drained soil and is perfect for low maintenance gardens, pollinator habitats, and edging schemes.
 
It attracts bees and butterflies and is ideal for succession sowing and quick seasonal impact.

Sowing Instructions
 
Sow seeds thinly where plants are to flower or in trays/modules for transplanting. Cover lightly with soil and keep moist until germination. Transplant when large enough to handle and space 20 to 30 cm apart. For continuous colour, sow in succession every few weeks.
 
Grow and Maintenance
 
Water during dry spells and avoid overfeeding. Deadhead to prolong flowering or allow to self-seed lightly. Suitable for borders, rockeries, and pollinator planting. Remove spent plants at season’s end or leave seed heads for wildlife interest.
