Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors from March to May in a well-prepared seed bed. Lightly press seeds into the soil but do not cover, as they need light to germinate. Thin seedlings to 20-25 cm apart to allow space for spreading.

 

For earlier blooms, sow seeds indoors from February to April in seed trays. Sow 1 cm deep and maintain a temperature of 18-20°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them outdoors after the last frost.

 

Water moderately and ensure good drainage to keep plants healthy. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage a longer blooming period.
