Black Eyed Susan Vine Yellow Seed - Irish Plants Direct

The Black eyed Susan Vine is a fast growing climber native to tropical Africa. The yellow form, often sold as ‘Sunrise Yellow’ or ‘Susie Yellow with Black Eye’, is especially cheerful, with golden blooms contrasted by a deep brown black centre.

Its twining stems quickly cover trellises, arches, fences, or obelisks, making it a favourite for adding vertical colour to summer gardens.

Flowering freely from July to October until cut down by frost. In conservatories or greenhouses, it can be overwintered and grown as a perennial.

Grow and Maintenance

Black eyed Susan Vine thrives in warm, sunny positions and benefits from regular watering and feeding during the growing season. Pinch out growing tips to encourage bushier growth.
