Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Lightly press seeds into the surface without covering them, as they require light for germination. Maintain a temperature of 18–21°C and keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 20–30 cm apart in a sunny or lightly shaded location.

 

For outdoor sowing, scatter seeds in a prepared bed from May to June, gently pressing them into the soil. Water lightly and thin seedlings as needed to allow proper spacing.
