Aubrieta Grandiflora Mixed Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This compact matt forming hardy perennial has evergreen foliage that is smothered in a mix of small coloured flowers during spring.

Perfect for borders and rockeries attracting valuable wildlife into the garden.

Sow February - July

Germination time 7- 21 days

Loam, chalk and sandy soil acid alkaline or neutral

Height 15cm.

Plant in sun or partial shade.

Flowers April - May the following year

Ideal in Rockeries, banks, cottage and gravel gardens, borders and container displays

Plant care trim after flowering.

Sow in a propagator between February - April on a warm window sill or greenhouse at 55-65 degrees onto finely sieved moist compost do not cover the seed.

As the seedlings develop transplant to 7cm pots to grow on gradually harden off before planting out for flowering the following year leaving 30cm between plants.

Sow outdoors May - July into warm moist finely raked soil to flower the following spring.
