Aster Paeony Salmon Seeds

Sowing Instructions

Sow seeds thinly in trays of moist well drained compost Lightly cover with fine soil and maintain temperatures of 18 to 22°C until germination Transplant seedlings when large enough to handle spacing 30 to 40 cm apart Harden off indoor seedlings and plant out after the last frost

Alternatively sow directly into prepared soil in late spring

Water regularly during establishment then moderately once plants are growing strongly Asters thrive in sunny well drained positions Remove spent blooms to encourage continuous flowering and provide light support in exposed areas to keep stems upright
