Alyssum Magic Circles Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This low growing bushy annual has masses of brightly coloured flowers in shades of pink, purple and white blooming over grey green foliage during spring.

A great long flowering plant that is ideal for rockeries, gravel gardens or edging borders.

Sow February - April

Germination 7 - 14 days

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Height 12cm

Plant in full sun or part shade

Flowers June - Oct

Plant in beds, borders, rockeries, gravel gardens or mixed container displays.

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or greenhouse at 13 - 18 degrees onto a seed tray of moist compost at a depth of 1.5mm.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 5cm apart to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out when all risk of frosts have passed where they will flower the following spring.
