This clump forming evergreen grass has elongated narrow dark green leaves that turn pale brown during winter with golden brown flowers from late summer.

An architectural grass that is a great addition to garden borders and gravel gardens.

Remove dead foliage during spring

Sow the seed between March - April onto a tray of moist compost and leave on a sunny window sill cover with a fine layer of compost.

When the seedlings emerge clump several seedlings together and pot into small individual pots to grow on.

Plant out where they are to grow from early summer.
