Sowing Instructions

 

For early blooms, sow seeds indoors from March to May in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Lightly press the seeds onto the surface and cover with a thin layer of compost. Keep the soil moist and maintain a temperature of 18–22°C for the best results.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and gradually harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 30–40 cm apart in a sunny, sheltered spot.

 

For direct sowing outdoors, scatter seeds in well-prepared soil, gently rake over, and water gently. Thin seedlings as they grow to ensure adequate space for healthy development.
