Trachelium White Knight Seeds

Trachelium caeruleum, commonly known as Throatwort, is a striking flowering plant admired for its dense clusters of tiny, star-like blooms.

 

The White Knight variety is a refined selection, producing elegant domes of pure white flowers that contrast beautifully with its lush green foliage. These delicate yet long-lasting blooms make an excellent choice for borders, cut flower arrangements, and pollinator-friendly gardens.

 

This bushy, well-branched plant grows to a height of 100cm and thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with full sun to partial shade.

Water regularly, keeping the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged. Deadhead spent flowers to encourage prolonged blooming and maintain a neat appearance.

 

Sowing Instructions

 

Indoors:

Sow seeds from February to April in trays of moist, well-drained compost. Lightly press the seeds onto the surface but do not cover, as light aids germination. Keep at 18–21°C. Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant into individual pots before hardening off and planting out after the last frost.
