Heuchera Mixed Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

 

This compact semi evergreen perennial has mid green scalloped shaped leaves with slender wiry stems that are covered in numerous tiny bell shaped flowers in different colours including white, pink and red.

 

 

Grow in mixed borders and rock gardens they make a good ground cover plant.

Sow March - July 

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's neutral 

Sow between March - July on a warm window sill placing the tray in a polythene bag to retain moisture or in a propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

 

 

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 5cm apart into trays to grow on. 

 

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their flowering position after all risk of frost has passed.
