Foxglove Speckled Spires Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
This cottage garden biennial has a great mix of colourful spires from early summer.
They are a stunning addition to the back of a shady mixed border plant in drifts for dramatic effect.
Excellent for attracting a host of wildlife into the garden.

☀️ Sow March - July
☀️Germination takes 21 - 42 days
☀️All soil types that is acidic, alkaline or neutral
☀️Height 90cm - 120cm
☀️Plant in Sun - Partial shade
☀️Flowering time May - July the following year
☀️Planting ideas Beds, borders, wildlife, wildflower, cottage, cut flower
☀️Cut down after flowering the plants will seed freely
☀️CAUTION: Seeds are Toxic if eaten
☀️Also known as Digitalis
Sow outdoors between March - July 5cm deep into finely raked soil that has been well watered.
Thin the seedlings to 5cm apart to grow on when they are large enough to handle plant into their final flowing position in Autumn.
Allow 25cm between plants to flower the following year.
