Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds indoors from February to April in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Lightly press seeds into the surface and cover with a thin layer of compost. Maintain a temperature of 18–21°C and keep the soil moist until germination.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 20–30 cm apart in a sunny, well-drained location.

 

For outdoor sowing, scatter seeds in a prepared bed from May to June, lightly covering them with soil. Water gently and thin seedlings to the correct spacing once established.
