Sowing Instructions

 

For early blooms, sow seeds indoors from March to May in seed trays or pots filled with fine compost. Lightly press seeds into the surface and cover with a thin layer of compost. Maintain a temperature of 18–22°C and keep the soil moist until germination.

 

Once seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into individual pots and gradually harden them off before planting outdoors after the last frost. Space plants 30–40 cm apart in a sunny location.

 

For direct sowing outdoors, plant seeds from May to June in well-drained soil, lightly rake over, and water gently. Thin seedlings as they grow to provide adequate space for healthy development.
