Sow April to May indoors in pots or modules. Germination 7 to 14 days at 20–25°C.

Height/Spread Trailing vines up to 1.5 m with rounded fruits 10–12 cm in diameter.

Harvesting Fruits from July to September when skin turns slightly yellow and aroma is strong.

 

Sowing instructions

Sow seeds individually in pots 1 cm deep. Transplant seedlings to greenhouse beds or outdoor frames once frost risk has passed, spacing 60–90 cm apart. Train vines along the ground or supports. Water regularly and feed with organic fertiliser during fruiting.
