Sowing Instructions

 

Sow seeds directly outdoors in early spring March - July in well-prepared soil. Sprinkle seeds thinly and cover lightly with a fine layer of compost or soil. Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.

 

For indoor sowing, use seed trays or pots, sowing seeds at a depth of about 0.5 cm. Maintain a temperature of 15-20°C for the best germination rate. Once seedlings have developed strong roots, thin out the weaker plants to allow for proper spacing (around 20-30 cm between each plant).

 

 

Regular harvesting will encourage more growth. Pick individual leaves as needed or harvest the whole plant at once for use in fresh salads.
