This early to medium variety produces medium sized compact creamy white heads with an excellent flavour.

 

A good disease resistant variety.

 

Use cooked or raw in salads can be used for cauliflower rice.

Cauliflowers require a deep fertile humus rich soil in partial shade that has been well dug in autumn, they do not grow well in acidic soil so adding lime to the soil may be necessary.

 

Water well when transplanting and during dry spells. 

 

Sow indoors between March - April when the plants are large enough to handle transplant into trays spacing 5cm apart or individual pots 50cm apart and 50cm between rows.

 

Gradually accustom the plants to the outside before planting into their final position.

 

Sow outside in a seed bed during April by sowing thinly in drills 1.25cm deep thin the seedlings eventually spacing the plants 50cm apart and 50cm between rows in their final growing position treading the plant in well.
