This cottage garden perennial favourite has an attractive mix of large flat headed blooms in bright, pastel and bicoloured flowers during summer. 

 

They stand on strong stems above dark green ferny foliage bringing a great splash of colour to beds and borders during summer.

 

Excellent for encouraging valuable wildlife into the garden.

Sow January - March 

 

Sow from January - March on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost. When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on. 

 

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from April onwards for them to flower later in the summer. 

 

Sow outdoors between April - June.
