Saponaria ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This sun loving annual gypsophlia has an abundance of of small pale pink flowers on well branched stems above blue grey waxy foliage.

A great border filler in a cottage garden scheme and a nice cut flower for mixed floral displays.

Sow between March and April into moist compost cover lightly with compost and place on a warm sunny window sill.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on into trays or individual pots to grow on.

Gradually accustom the plants to outside planting into their final flowering post after the risk of frost has passed.

Sow outside 2cm deep into finly raked soil where they are to grow. Thin the seedlings to 5cm apart if necessary.
