Sowing Instructions 

 

Sow seeds indoors from March to May, 0.5 cm deep in moist, well-drained compost. Keep in a cool, bright location (around 10-15°C) for optimal germination. Once seedlings are strong enough, transplant them outdoors after the last frost.

 

Alternatively, sow directly outdoors in late spring once the soil has warmed. Space plants 30-45 cm apart to allow for their tall, upright growth and abundant flowering.
