A sweet Italian pepper variety with a mild fruity flavour and thick fleshy texture.
 
Peperone Lombardo (Capsicum annuum) produces large, blocky peppers that ripen from green to a vibrant red. Known for their sweet, mild taste, these peppers have thick flesh that is perfect for stuffing, grilling, or making into sauces.
 
Growing to a height of 60-80 cm, this variety thrives in warm, sunny environments and can be grown in gardens or larger containers.
 
Ideal for Mediterranean dishes, these sweet peppers add colour and flavour to salads, pasta dishes, and roasted vegetable platters.

Sowing Instructions
 
Start seeds indoors from February to April, 0.5 cm deep in moist, well-drained compost. Keep in a warm, sunny location at a temperature of 18-24°C for optimal germination. Once seedlings are large enough, transplant them outdoors after the last frost.
 
Alternatively, sow directly outdoors once the soil has warmed. Space plants 40-50 cm apart for optimal growth and fruit production.
