Zinnia Persian Carpet Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

These colourful half hardy annuals have a mix of contrasting burgundy, gold, cream and orange double and semi double flowers during summer.

They are an excellent choice for a sunny flower border and for encouraging valuable wildlife into the garden.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed between April and May 5mm deep into finely raked soil that's been well watered when the seedlings emerge thin to 25 cm apart.

Alternatively sow into seed trays on a sunny window sill between March - April when the plants are large enough to handle transplant into trays to grow on.

Plant out when the risk of frost has passed.
