Sweet Pea Windsor Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This popular climbing annual has delightfully scented carmine crimson flowers on long slender stems throughout summer.

Grow them against a trellis, wigwam or obelisk for fabulous displays.

An excellent cut flower.

When the young plants have 3 - 4 pairs of leaves pinch out the tips to encourage bushy plants.

Sow indoors from January - March on a sunny window sill or in a propagator planting out after the risk of frost has passed in April - May.

Sow outdoors April - May where they are to grow sowing 2 seeds 10cm apart.

Sow September - October in pots and leave in a cool greenhouse or cold frame to plant out in spring.
