Sunflower Black Magic Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
This multi branching sunflower has dark maroon flowers that are perfect for eye catching displays in a sunny mixed border.
This easy to grow annual is a magnet for attracting a host of wildlife into the garden.
Sunflowers make excellent cut flowers.

Loam, Chalk or clay soil that's alkaline or neutral

Plant in Beds, borders, cottage, cut flower, architectural, wildlife

Leave the seed heads to feed the birds
Sow between late March- May into a fine layer of raked warm moist soil 13mm deep where the plants are to grow space the plants to 30 - 45cm apart.
Alternatively sow in March on a sunny window sill in pots.
Gradually harden off planting the sunflowers 39 - 45cm apart.
