Saponaria Soapwort Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This low growing hardy perennial has pretty clusters of pale pink to white flowers that stand on upright stems above oval evergreen leaves.

A long flowering summer plant providing colour in borders, rockeries and gravel gardens encouraging a host of wildlife to the garden.

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's alkaline or neutral

Sow between May and July into finely sieved moist compost.

When seedlings develop transplant to 9cm pots to grow on.

Plant out where they are to grow in autumn where they flower the following year.
