Rosemary Herb ORGANIC Seed - Irish Plants Direct

This aromatic evergreen mediterranean herb has flavoursome dark green needle like leaves with an excellent flavour.

It bears small tiny blue flowers during summer.

A lovely perennial shrub that can be grown in pots, containers or garden borders.

It can be used as an anti inflammatory, helps blood circulation and is rich in antioxidants.

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic alkaline or neutral

Harvest May - November

Companion Plants Cabbage, Beans, Carrot and Sage

Pick the leaves as required

A good source of vitamin A, C and B6

Use in stuffings with lamb, beef, chicken or vegetables

Sow thinly between April - May indoors in seed trays 0.5cm deep water and place in a warm position 15 - 20 degrees and keep moist.

Transplant into small pots when they are large enough to handle, grow on in cooler conditions and gradually accustom the plants to outsiders conditions.

Ideal for growing on a side wind sill for a year round fresh supply of leaves.
