This very attractive poppy has large paper like blooms in a delightful range of pastel shades they stand on tall stems blooming during summer.

 

This is a pretty biennial perfect for mixed beds and borders plant in drifts for a great effect.

☀️ Sow March - May or September 

☀️Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral 

 

Sow in seed trays on the surface of moist compost then when the seedlings a large enough to handle transplant to individual pots to grow on gradually harden the plants off to plant out when the risk of frost has past.

 

Alternatively Sow in a sunny border in spring when the soil warms up where they are to flower 6mm deep. When the seedlings emerge thin them to achieve spacing the plants 45cm apart.
