Pampas Grass White Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This large evergreen perennial grass has long and slender arching green leaves with dramatic silver white flower plumes from late summer.

An excellent architectural plant for garden borders or large containers the flowers make an excellent cut flower.

☀️Sow March - June or year round

☀️Loam or clay soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

☀️Germination time 14 - 21 days

☀️Plant in sun or part shade

☀️Ideal in beds, borders, containers, gravel, low maintenance

Sowing the seed is possible year round if a gentle heat can be achieved.

Sow onto a seed tray of moist compost covering lightly with compost and place on a sunny window sill or in green house between March - June.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on in to individual pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting them out into their final growing position.
