Ornamental Cabbage Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

These ornamental cabbage have frilly leaves with an excellent mix of colours in various shades of white, pink, purple and red.

They provide welcome colour in the garden from autumn into winter providing interest in borders, pots, containers or window boxes.

Sow in trays between mid June - July leaving the tray outside.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle pot on into individual pots to grow on.

When the young plants are large enough plant into their final flowering position 30cm apart.

Alternatively sow outdoors between mid June - August a seed bed sowing thinly in drills 1.25cm deep.

When the the plants are large enough to handle transplant to their final growing position 30cm apart.

Water well when transplanting and during any dry spells.
