Nasturtium Peach Melba Seed - Irish Plants Direct

This compact annual has masses of creamy yellow flowers with maroon markings on each petal they bloom over green foliage during summer.

The flowers and leaves are edible and can be used in a variety of dishes.

Sow in a cabbage bed to detere cabbage butterfly.

Germination time 7-10 days

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow into individual pots 3 or 4 seeds per pot on a sunny window sill when the seedlings are large enough to handle pot into 7.5cm pots to grow on.

Plant out when all risk of frost has passed.

Alternatively sow the seed direct into baskets and containers from late April where they are to grow.
