This is a bushy aromatic perennial herb is part of the oregano family and has sweet flavoured bright green leaves with an abundance of white flowers during summer.

It could be used as an ornamental plant in the garden and is ideal for using in a wide range of culinary dishes.

☀️Germination 14 - 21 days

☀️Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

☀️Harvest during summer time. Year round inside

☀️Companion Plants Beans and broccoli

☀️Pick the leaves when required.

☀️A good source of vitamin B6, C, A, C, E and k

☀️ Use in Italian dishes, lamb and tomato dishes.

Sow the seed thinly between January - December into pots on well drained compost and cover lightly, leave on a sunny window sill to use in the kitchen year round.

Alternatively sow outdoors in a sunny sheltered spot into fertile soil during April - May.
