Lupin Noble Maiden Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This long flowering cottage garden favourite has dense spikes of creamy white flowers during summer plant in groups for excellent displays.

A great plant for encourages valuable wildlife especially bumble bee's into the garden.

Germination time 7 - 14 days

Loam or sandy soil that's acidic or neutral

Height 90cm

Plant in Sun or Partial shade

Flowers May- July

Ideal for beds, borders, cottage, coast, cut

Dead head to encourage a second flush of flowers and cut back after flowering

Also known as Lupinus

CAUTION: Toxic if eaten

Sow April - June into small pots of moist compost and place on a warm window sill or propagator.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 9cm pots to grow on.

Plant out when they are around 30cm tall where they are to flower the following year.
