Description

Lupin Festival Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This compact hardy perennial is suitable for smaller gardens and has a beautiful mix of bright and bold colourful flower spikes from early summer.

They provide long lasting displays in mixed borders or containers.

Loam or sandy soil that acidic or neutral

Plant in Sun or Partial shade

Flowers May- July the following year

Ideal for beds, borders, cottage, coast, cut, containers

Dead head to encourage a second flush of flowers. Cut bck after flowering

CAUTION: Toxic if eaten

Sow between January - March into small pots of moist compost place on a warm window sill or propagator.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 9cm pots to grow on.

Plant out when they are around 30cm tall to flower the following year.
