Heliopsis Burning Heart Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This bright and colourful perennial has bushy purple green foliage with attractive bi coloured orange and yellow daisy flowers during summer.

Grow in mixed borders and cottage garden schemes.

This variety will flower the same year as sowing.

Deadhead to prolong flowering, then cut back after flowering

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant to 5cm apart into trays or pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their flowering position after all risk of frost has passed 30cm apart.
