Hedgerow And Verges Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
This easy to grow specially selected seed is a great mix of native wildflowers including perennials, hardy annuals and herbs bringing hedgerows and verges to life during summer.
They will create a good display of colour and attract valuable wildlife to the garden.
Seed Qty 1 gram covers 1sqm
☀️Sow March - April sow September
☀️Germination time 7 - 14 days
☀️All soil types that's alkaline, alkaline neutral
☀️Height Approximately up to 120cm
☀️Plant in sun or partial shade
☀️Flowers May - September
☀️Ideal in beds, mixed borders and hedgerows
☀️Cut back after flowering
The seed can be sown thinly directly outside from March onwards into finely raked moist soil where they are to flower covering lightly.
When the seedlings emerge thin to about 8cm apart allowing the young plants to develop further, thin again to between 16cm - 30cm.
