Grass Festuca Glauca Grass Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This clump forming ornamental evergreen grass forms mounds of green finely cut foliage with slender spikes of yellow seeds heads during summer.

The foliage turns a straw gold during winter.

A great addition to garden borders, rockeries and container displays.

Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Ideal in beds, borders, containers, gravel, low maintenance, cottage, rockeries

Sow the seed between February - May onto a tray of moist compost and leave on a sunny window sill cover with a fine layer of compost.

When the seedlings emerge clump several seedlings together and pot into small individual pots to grow on.

Plant out where they are to grow from early summer.
