French Bean Dwarf Compass ORGANIC Seeds - Irish Plants Direct 

 

This highly productive bushy variety grows upto around 60cm in height.

 

It produces high yields of slender rounded light green stringless pods with an excellent flavour. 

 

A good disease resistant variety. 

 

Seed Qty 20gram

 

 

 

Sow between April - May into pots or trays on a sunny window sill or greenhouse during April. Cover the seed with 25mm of compost and plant out 20cm apart after all chance of frost has passed into a sunny position with fertile moist soil.

 

Alternatively sow direct outside into warm soil 50cm deep when the young plants emerge thin to 20cm apart leaving 45cm between rows.

Regular sowing will ensure a continuous supply of beans throughout the summer.
