Echinops Ritro Globe Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
This hardy perennial is ideal for planting towards the back of a mixed border.
The purple blue globe shaped flowers stand on silvery branched stems providing valuable nectar, pollen and seed to various species of wildlife in the garden.
Use as a cut flower for long lasting indoor displays.

☀️ Sow April - June
☀️Germination time 21 - 35 days
☀️Loam, chalk or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral
☀️Height 100cm
☀️Plant in sun or partial shade.
☀️Flowers July - September the following year.
☀️Ideal for beds, borders, cottage, gravel, low maintenance, wildlife
☀️Deadhead to prevent self seeding
Sow the seed from April - June directly into finely raked moist soil 5mm deep.
Thin the seedlings to their flowering positions to bloom the following summer spacing 35cm apart.
