Dahlia Mignon Piccolo Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This low growing compact plant has a colourful mix of brightly coloured large single flowers.

A half hardy perennial that will provide long lasting colour from mid summer in beds, borders and summer container displays.

These pollen rich flowers will attract a host of wildlife into the garden.

Dead head to prolong flowering

Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator by thinly sowing the seed on top of moist compost.

Cover with cling film until the seedlings emerge keep the compost moist.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart into trays to grow on or into small pots.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
