Dahlia Dandy Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
This delightful hardy annual has a bushy habit with well branched stems and very decorative large flowers that have contrasting collars that surround the yellow eye.
These pollen rich flowers will attract a host of wildlife into the garden.
Grow in a sunny border or pots and containers.

Germination takes 14 - 21 days
Loam, clay or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Dead head to prolong flowering
Sow between February - April on a warm window sill or propagator by thinly sowing the seed on top of moist compost.
Cover with cling film until the seedlings emerge keep the compost moist.
When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant 5cm apart into trays to grow on or into small pots.
Gradually harden off the plants before planting out after all risk of frost has passed.
