Cornflowers Mixed Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This cottage garden favourite has a mix of pretty coloured flowers in shades of pink, white and blue on well branched stems during summer.

An easy to grow annual that attracts plenty of butterflies and other wildlife grow in drifts for stunning effect.

Loam ir sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed in a sunny border between March - April in warm moist finely raked soil where they are to flower 5mm deep.

When the seedlings emerge thin them to 10-15cm.

Alternatively sow September to flower the following year.
