Cornflower Midget Blue Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This lower growing compact hardy annual has masses of rich blue double flowers that stand on slender stems throughout summer.

They attract valuable wildlife into the garden and could be grown in pots and containers.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed in a sunny border between March - May in warm moist finely raked soil where they are to flower 5mm deep.

When the seedlings emerge thin them to 30cm

Alternatively sow September - October to flower the following year.
