Cornflower Classic Fantastic Seeds. - Irish Plants Direct

A popular hardy annual with single and semi double flowers in a mix of various shades of blue flowers they create stunning displays during summer especially when grown in drifts.

Especially attractive to both bee's and butterflies.

Sow March - June or August - October to flower the following year

Loam or sandy soil that's acidic, alkaline or neutral

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow the seed in a sunny border from March - April in warm moist finely raked soil where they are to flower 5mm deep. When the seedlings emerge thin them to 10-15cm.

Alternatively sow September to flower the following year.
