Chilli Pepper Machu Pitchu Seeds - Irish Plants Direct
This is a long chilli that has a slightly wrinkled skin in a dark green colour that matures to an unusual dark brown.
They have a mild to medium heat and are excellent for using in a variety of dishes, an excellent choice for drying to store.

☀️Sow February - April 
☀️Germination 7 - 10 days
☀️Loam or sandy soil that's acidic or neutral 
☀️Harvest July - October
☀️Companion Plants Tomato, Cucumber, Chard, Squash.
Do not plant with Beans, Brassicas or Fennel
☀️Harvest when the fruits are developed enough by snipping off the Chilli with scissors. 
☀️A good source of vitamin C
☀️Use in soups, casseroles and Oriental dishes
Chilli's can be grown outside in a sheltered sunny spot or in the tunnel or greenhouse in borders, large pots or grow bags. 
Apply a liquid feed every two weeks after the first flowers appear. 
Chilli's may cause skin irritation so wearing gloves when handling the fruits ma be necessary. 
Sow from February to April filling a small seed tray with compost and cover with fine compost. Keep the compost moist place on a sunny windowsill, warm green house or propagator at 18 - 20 degrees. Transplant to larger individual pots when the seedlings are large enough to handle to grow on. 
If the plants are to be grown outside harden off and plant out in June - July or grow in the tunnel or greenhouse.
