This cottage garden perennial has delicate blue flowers that stand on upright stems above neat clumps of grey green grass like foliage.

They are excellent colour for garden beds and borders during summer and will also encourage valuable wildlife into the garden.

Sow from Feb to June on a warm window sill or propagator into trays of moist compost cover with 5mm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 7. 5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out from September onwards for them to flower the following summer.
