Carnation Chabaud Giant Mix Seeds - Irish Plants Direct

This half hardy annual is cottage garden favourite with a mix of beautifully scented frilly flowers in a variety of colours.

They stand on strong stems making them an excellent border and cut flower.

Deadhead to prolong flowering

Sow between January - March on a warm window sill or propagator to give gentle heat into trays of moist compost cover with 5cm of sieved compost.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle transplant into 5cm pots to grow on.

Gradually harden off the plants before planting out into their final flowering position.

Alternatively March - April in seed trays and place on a sunny window sill, greenhouse or cold frame.
